This new architectural photography web site has been developed to show case my images. I formed David Millington Photography in 2001 and after a successful photography career as a studio still life photographer I turned my camera on to architecture. Here I'll be posting new articles relating to architecture that I find interesting and also some of my own photography news.

Three shortlisted for major Manchester Deansgate project

Urban & Civic Plc Renaissance Hotel - Manchester

SimpsonHaugh & Partners, Glenn Howells Architects and Eric Parry Architects are understood to have been shortlisted in the contest to redevelop the Renaissance hotel site in Manchester’s Deansgate via AJ

In 2015 I was commissioned by Urban & Civic Plc to photograph the Renaissance Hotel located on Deansgate and Blackfriars Street, Manchester from various City viewpoints. The view of Greater Manchester from the the roof top of the Hotel is spectacular! The 15 story skyscraper, originally an office block was designed by architects Crickshank & Seward and built in 1972.
