McDowell + Benedetti receives RIBA-CABE Public Space Award nomination for the Castleford Bridge

Architectural photographer David Millington photographed the Castleford Footbridge for the Commission for Architecture in the Built Environment. McDowell + Benedetti designed the bridge and they have received a RIBA-CABE Public Space Award nomination. The awards will be presented on October 17, 2009 in London.
The RIBA/CABE Public Space Award is now in it's second year and celebrates accessible public external space, whether it is green or gray, urban or rural, privately or publicly owned, designed or redesigned and refurbished for public use.
