David Millington to photograph Sir Denys Lasdun's Liverpool University Sports Centre's Swimming Pool

Architectural Photographer David Millington has been commissioned today by Atkins to photograph the newly refurbished University of Liverpool's Sports Centre's Swimming Pool, a 1963 piece of concrete postwar 'brutalism' by renowned British architect Sir Denys Lasdun.

The classic brutalistic piece of British Architecture was is a poor state of repair with glass falling out of the chlorine rotted fixings. The original panes of glass have now been replaced with superior Kalwall Window Systems which are highly insulated and transmit a natural soft diffused light.

David has been producing architectural photography for Atkins since 2003 photographing various projects across the UK.
