The 18,000 sq ft Booths Food Store in Market Gate is situated just two minutes walk from the heart of the city centre of Ripon. The store boasts a fresh Orange Juice bar as well as "Cafe 1847". The site also houses retail units, a new city centre car park, a new health, fitness club and 21 apartments.
The scheme was designed to reflect the range of materials and finishes found in the buildings through out Ripons Conservation area. Marketgate won the Ripon Civic Society's Best New Building Award 2009.
