David Millington Photography Ltd has been commissioned to photograph Lancaster University's New £20M State-of-the-Art Sports Centre at the
Lancaster Campus.
The Sports Facility has a 25 metre, 8 lane Swimming Pool with a variable depth floating floor, a specially designed 10m high Climbing Wall & Bouldering Cave, Health & Fitness Suites, Sauna & Steam Room's, Sports Hall with 8 badminton Court's, 4 glass backed Squash Courts with spectator seating to the show court and outdoor changing facilities for field game's. Plus a state of the art, 100 station Gym located on 2 levels which includes stretch area, free weights, resistance and cardio vascular equipment, incorporating adaptable inclusive fitness equipment.
The building has been designed to achieve the Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM) 'Excellent' rating, which sets the standard for best practice in sustainable design.
